 Jeffco Commissioner Tina Francone announced today that Congressman Tom Tancredo, Commissioner Libby Szabo, Former Assistant Secretary of the Interior, Lyle Laverty, and Former Chairman of the Jeffco Republican Party will join in hosting a fundraising reception for her campaign on September 13 at 6:00 p.m.

The reception will be at The Retreat at Solterra in Lakewood. The address is 15250 W. Evans Ave, Lakewood CO 80228.

Fraternal Order of Police Endorses Tina Francone for Jefferson County Commissioner

The West Metro Lodge of the Fraternal Order of Police announced their endorsement of Tina Francone for Jefferson County Commissioner today.

Fraternal Order of Police is the largest organization of Law Enforcement professionals in the world. The West Metro Lodge represents Deputy Sheriffs and other Law Enforcement officials in Jefferson County, Colorado.

Jeffco supports bill for online-only publication of fiscal information

Jeffco Commissioner Tina Francone told the Colorado State Senate on Feb. 14 that she and her fellow commissioners support a bill that would no longer require counties to publish full financial reports in newspapers.

Republican and former RTD official Tina Francone becomes newest Jeffco commissioner

The board of commissioners in Jefferson County is whole once again, with the swearing-in this week of Tina Francone to fill the seat vacated by longtime commissioner Don Rosier last month.

In a formal swearing-in ceremony, Tina Francone last week officially replaced former Commissioner Don Rosier on the Jeffco Board of County Commissioners.

Despite the recommendation to deny from staff and neighbors, the Jeffco Board of County Commissioners voted 2-1 Tuesday to rezone a 3-acre lot in South Jeffco to allow for a gas station.
The lot, which sits on the northeast corner of Coal Mine Avenue and Kipling Parkway, is undeveloped and was zoned for agricultural use. Blakeland Drive Investors LLP owns the lot, but Murphy Oil USA, Inc., plans to lease the north half for a gas station. The other half would remain undeveloped, but, with the board’s approval, the whole lot now has been rezoned as Planned Development.
